About this video

Now playing in this video: 🎵 Chopin: "Ballade No.4 in F minor Op.52"

Kim Bernard brings profound depth and narrative sweep to Chopin's "Ballade No. 4 in F minor", Op. 52, widely regarded as the composer's most complex and emotionally rich work in the form. Elegiac and intricately woven, the ballade builds from wistful lyricism to a devastating, virtuosic climax.
