About this video

Now playing in this video: 🎵 Chopin, "Barcarolle in F sharp major Op.60"

Kim Bernard brings luminous warmth and gentle sway to Chopin's "Barcarolle in F-sharp major", Op. 60, a work inspired by the lilting rhythms of Venetian gondolier songs. Sensuous and richly ornamented, the piece unfolds as one of Chopin's most opulent and rapturous late creations.
