Upcoming Classeek Concert Collaborations

While the 2023-24 season of the Ambassador Programme may be coming to a close, that doesn’t mean that we’re slowing down at Classeek. Each season, selected artists are given opportunities to perform, reach new audiences, develop their musical networks, and receive support in managing the various aspects of a high-level career in musical performance. We are proud to feature three outstanding musicians from our programme that will be participating in two upcoming collaborations.

Classeek x Piano à Riom

We are thrilled to announce our upcoming collaboration with the prestigious festival Piano à Riom, showcasing two wonderful Classeek Ambassador Programme artists, Clarissa Bevilacqua (violin) and Martina Consonni (piano). This concert, scheduled for June 25th at 20:00 in the Salle Dumoulin in Riom, promises to be a memorable evening filled with remarkable performances.

The concert programme will include:

• Debussy: Sonata for Piano and Violin
• Franck: Sonata for Piano and Violin
• Ravel: Tzigane

The programme showcases the richness of classical music through the emotive Sonata by Debussy, the dynamic and demanding Franck Sonata, and Ravel's vibrant Tzigane. These pieces will highlight the musicality, creativity, and delicacy of Martina and Clarissa’s interpretations, as well as their energy and spontaneity.

Classeek x Flâneries Musicales de Reims

We are equally excited to announce another collaboration, this time with the esteemed festival Flâneries Musicales de Reims. On July 4th at 21:00, at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Reims, we will present a concert featuring Alexey Stychkin (violin) and Martina Consonni (piano).

This new collaboration with the Flâneries Musicales de Reims festival is a testament to our commitment to providing our artists with unparalleled opportunities to perform and connect with new audiences. The concert will bring together an ambitious and diverse programme:

• Frank Bridge: Sonata for Violin and Piano H. 39
• Francis Poulenc: Sonata for Violin and Piano
• Ralph Vaughan Williams: The Lark Ascending
• Claude Debussy: Sonata for Violin and Piano in G Minor

This carefully curated selection of works highlights some of the finest French compositions, alongside masterpieces by British composers, creating a rich tapestry of musical heritage and cross-cultural dialogue.
