Classeek proudly announces the selection of emerging classical musicians chosen to join the Ambassador Programme for the upcoming 2024-2025 season. This marks another exciting chapter in our ongoing commitment to providing unparalleled opportunities for young classical musicians to elevate their careers on a global stage.

Established in 2017, the Ambassador Programme continues to further our mission of discovering, following, and supporting the next generation of classical musicians. This year's cohort boasts an eclectic mix of musicians, showcasing the artistry shaping the future of classical music. 

Each artist selected for the programme gains access to a tailored one-year curriculum designed to accelerate their career trajectory. From professional photoshoots and concert video materials to career coaching and performance opportunities, this holistic approach equips young musicians with the skills and support needed to take the next step in the highly competitive classical music industry.

The upcoming season promises an exciting journey as these young artists, selected through a mix of ambassador nominations and open applications, bring their unique perspectives and artistry to the forefront. We are also grateful to all of our Classeek Ambassadors – renowned figures Emmanuel Pahud, Gautier Capuçon, Michel Bérof, and Renaud Capuçon, as well as influential industry players Markus Wyler and Sonia Simmenauer – for their continued support of Classeek.

Nominated by Sir András Schiff, Israeli pianist Tom Borrow joined us for his debut recital on the Classeek Ambassador Programme in June 2023. 

The Chorale et Variations from Dutilleux’s only piano sonata is packed full of references to a range of Soviet and French impressionist composers. Dedicated to and premiered by Dutilleux’s wife Geneviève Joy in 1948, it is one of the composer’s first mature works.

Winning the place on Classeek's first ever open application, violinist Alexey Stychkin joins the Classeek Ambassador Programme for the 2022-23 season.

Russian-Greek violinist Alexey Stychkin comes from a family with deep musical and artistic roots. Born in Moscow in 2000, at the age of five he started his violin studies at the Central Music School for Gifted Children in the class of Galina Tourchaninova. During his school years, he performed in Greece, Israel, Italy and throughout Russia. He has continued his studies with Marc Bouchkov in Liege Royal Conservatory. Currently, Alexey is studying with Mihaela Martin in the masters program at the Hochschule fur Musik und Tanz in Cologne. Concurrently, starting with the 2022/23 season, he has received an academy position in the first violin section of the Staatskapelle Berlin and moved to Berlin.

Alberto Navarra

Nominated by Emmanuel Pahud, flautist Alberto Navarra joins the Classeek Ambassador Programme for the 2022-23 season.

Born in Mondovì, Italy, he began his musical education with Maurizio Valentini at the Conservatorio di Musica Ghedini in Cuneo, followed by further studies with Andrea Manco and Andrea Oliva at the International Academy of Imola and National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome. Awarded with scholarships to continue his studies, in 2019 he joined the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid as a student of Jacques Zoon and Salvador Martinez Tos. Here he was also awarded the "más sobresaliente", student of the year, presented by Queen Sofía of Spain.

Alberto has gained notable recognition in the spring of 2022, winning the Carl Nielsen International Flute Competition in Odense, Denmark. Other competition successes include the Severino Gazzelloni International Flute Competition (Italy) in 2021 and Dorel Baicu International Competition (Romania) in 2020.This season, Alberto joins the Berliner Philharmoniker as a member of the prestigious Karajan Akademie, studying and performing alongside world renowned flautists Emmanuel Pahud, Sebastian Jacot and the entire BPO flute section.

Classeek artists join forces

Nominated by Sonia Simmenauer, pianist Giorgi Gigashvili joins the Classeek Ambassador Programme for the 2022-23 season.

Born in Tbilisi, Georgia in 2000, Giorgi took his first piano lessons without ever thinking about becoming a professional pianist. Passionate about singing and arranging Georgian folk and pop songs, he successfully competed in various Georgian singing contests at the age of 12. As a classical pianist, he won the 1st Prize at the Vigo International Piano Competition in 2019,  the Third Prize and the Audience Prize at the 62nd Busoni International Piano Competition, and most recently won 2nd prize at the 17th Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition.
