Born in Izmir Turkey, Denizcan Eren studied at the Conservatoire de Nice, France and the Musik-Akademie Basel, Switzerland. Since then he has studied with Emmanuel Pahud and Benoît Fromanger, and in April 2018 he became trainee at the Karajan-Akademie (Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra). He has performed in orchestras such as the Berliner Philharmoniker, Akademie-Orchester der Berliner Philharmoniker, Elbphilarmonie Orchester Hamburg, and Luzerner Sinfonieorchester, with conductors such as Kirill Petrenko, Daniel Barenboim, Mariss Jansons, Paavo Jarvi, Matthias Pintcsher, Tugan Sokhiev, James Gaffigan, and Gabor Takacs-Nagy. As a soloist he has performed throughout Europe with orchestras such as the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra, Les Flûtes d’Azur, Uetendorf Chamber Orchestra, Avrasya Philharmonic Orchestra, Sophia Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as at festivals including La Cote Flute Festival Switzerland, and the Paris Flute Convention in France. He is also a first prize winner of several renowned competitions including the International Flute Competition of Izmir Turkey (2011), Grande Motte Flute Competition France (2013), International Competition of Flute and Piano of Monaco (2014), International Flute Competition- Maxence Larrieu France (2015), and the Val-de-Travers International Flute Competitioni Switzerland (2017).
